About the Team

Our multi-cultural, English-speaking team is a rapidly growing group of passionate engineers, working closely with Product, UI, UX, and QA to build next-generation AI and WordPress solutions. We are developing Flowpilot.one, a conversational AI-based website builder for WordPress that enables anyone to create a professional site through natural dialogue —launching globally across our brands. In parallel, we build and maintain WP.one, a powerful managed WordPress hosting platform designed for agencies and developers. Our team currently includes four
local engineers (growing to eight), a Support Engineer in Finland, UI and UX designers based in Copenhagen, and QA support from India — all collaborating tightly to deliver high-quality, scalable products that redefine how websites are created and managed.

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer fluent with NodeJS (TypeScript) and understanding of NestJS with an interest in AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain) and agentic systems. As a Backend Developer, you’ll work on projects that integrate conversational AI into website generation, editing, and connectivity with internal and external systems and plugins. You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment and expand your expertise by building AI-driven solutions for various use cases defined by the team.

What You’ll Do

• Build and evolve our AI-powered backend systems that connect conversational AI with website generation, editing, and plugin integrations.
• Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js (NestJS) and modern backend patterns.
• Develop robust data flows between WordPress, internal systems, and third-party APIs, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver smooth, human-like user experiences through seamless backend logic.
• Continuously improve performance, observability, and security, leveraging monitoring tools and best DevOps practices.
• Experiment, prototype, and learn — from exploring new AI frameworks to testing emerging backend technologies.
• Contribute to our engineering culture, sharing insights, best practices, and ideas that push our technical boundaries forward.
