About the Role

As a Backend Developer with us, you will develop and optimize our systems for high performance, security, and scalability. You’ll work with a modern tech stack in an agile team and play a central role in shaping the functionality behind our products, with the main focus on our in-house built WordPress Dashboard along with many in-house and 3^rd party integrations.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend solutions

Work with databases, APIs, and cloud services

Optimize performance, stability and security in our systems

Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product owners to create seamless user experiences

Stay updated on the latest technologies and contribute to our technical strategy

Who You Are:

You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or similar level of competency. You have strong will to be always learning more and to keep up with the latest advancements in the field.

Strong knowledge on:

• Typescript/Javascript
• NodeJS, especially NestJS-framework
• TypeORM / PostgreSQL
• Event-driven architecture

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge on:
  • Job Queues (e.g. RabbitMQ, BullMQ)
  • NoSQL databases (e.g. Redis, MongoDB)
• WordPress – basic knowledge on plugins, themes
• System-side tooling – e.g WP-Cli, Unix shell commands, nginx configuration
• Docker/Kubernetes - containerization of apps
• Git/GitLab – working with repositories, CI/CD
• Prometheus/Grafana/Loki - setting up important metrics and alerts to track the performance of systems
